India offers tremendous manpower potential for both their kitchen and service areas on board cruise lines, such as Restaurants, Bars, Housekeeping, Front Office, Casino and Security. This is primarily because of India’s long tradition of hospitality which embodies the ancient saying ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ (“A Guest Is Like God”) combined with a large pool of trained, English-speaking hospitality professionals.
We are planning to set up a training institute to upgrade the technical skills of potential cruise line candidates. Udya Shipping is capable to provide the cruise line companies a steady supply of young hotel professionals who are trained to meet their requirements.
